The collection contains 18 views of the Rotunda and Lawn from various approaches and at different seasons; two of the chapel; three of the old Anatomical Theatre, including an interior view of a [laboratory?]; three of McCormick Observatory; a front and side view of the newly built hospital; two of the cemetery and one each of Brooks Museum, Rouss Physical Laboratory, the Chemical Laboratory, the resevoir, the Rivanna River, and two views from [Monticello?] mountain. There are several unidentified views, one of which may be old 250 West, another the old Charlottesville Woolen Mills dam, and two more Crabtree Falls in Nelson County. The remainder include a view of the Brandywine Creek, Chester County, Pa., together with Washington's and Lafayette's September 1777 headquarters.
